The point of this page

Everything we publish about paint protection film is written to be useful and is checked before it goes up. None of it is a quotation, a warranty, or advice about your specific car. Those come from an inspection and a written quote, not from a web page.

What this disclaimer covers

This page applies to the informational content of paintprotectionfilm.ae: the guides, the comparisons, the technical explanations, the film specifications and the indicative prices. It does not limit the contractual commitments we make to you in a written quotation, in our Terms & Conditions, or on a warranty certificate. Those documents say what we owe you; this page explains how to read the rest of the site.

General information, not advice

Our articles are written for vehicle owners in the UAE and reflect what we see in our own workshop. They are general in nature. They cannot take account of your particular vehicle, its paint history, how and where it is driven, or what it has already been through.

Nothing on this website should be treated as a professional recommendation for a specific car, and nothing here is engineering, chemical, legal, insurance or financial advice. Where a decision matters (whether film is worth it on a vehicle with a repainted panel, whether a coating over film will void something), ask us and we will look at the actual car.

Why results vary by vehicle

Paint protection film behaves differently on different vehicles, and any honest description of it has to say so.

  • Coverage differs by body shape. Panel geometry, badge placement, sensor housings, trim gaps and complex curves all affect how much of a panel can be covered and how the edges are finished. Coverage described as "full bonnet" on one car is not identical on another.
  • Template availability differs by model. Computer-cut patterns exist for most vehicles, but not every variant, trim or facelift. Where a template does not exist, coverage is achieved differently and we will explain what that means before you commit.
  • Paint condition changes the outcome. Film bonds to the surface beneath it. Oxidised, repainted or previously repaired paint affects both adhesion and appearance, and is one of the main reasons two identical models can produce different results.
Coverage is confirmed on the ramp

The coverage that applies to your vehicle is the coverage stated in your written quotation after inspection, not the coverage described on a web page. If the two ever differ, the quotation is the one that counts.

Manufacturer specifications and test conditions

Figures we publish for film thickness, warranty duration, heat rejection, UV rejection, water contact angle and self-healing behaviour are taken from the film manufacturers' own published specifications.

Those figures are measured under controlled laboratory conditions. Real-world performance on a car parked outdoors through an Abu Dhabi summer depends on exposure, surface temperature, washing regime, the age of the film and the condition of the paint beneath it. We publish manufacturer figures because they are the objective basis for comparison, not because we can guarantee you will measure the same number on your bonnet.

Manufacturers also revise specifications and warranty terms without notifying installers. Where a figure on this site differs from the current manufacturer documentation or from your warranty certificate, the manufacturer's documentation and your certificate take precedence.

Prices and packages

Prices and package offers shown on this website are indicative starting points for a typical vehicle. They are not offers capable of acceptance and they do not form a contract.

What you actually pay depends on the vehicle, the coverage, the film grade, and whether paint correction is needed. Promotional prices are limited by time and by film availability and can be withdrawn or changed without notice. The only price that binds us is the one in your written, itemised quotation, which we honour for the booked installation as set out in our Terms & Conditions.

Timelines and availability

Turnaround times published on this site (a full-vehicle installation in two to three working days, for example) describe typical work on a vehicle in normal condition with film in stock. They are estimates given in good faith, not guarantees.

Actual timing depends on the coverage booked, the condition of the paint, whether correction is added, film stock for your vehicle, and workshop scheduling. Where a job will take longer than we told you, we will tell you as soon as we know rather than at collection.

Photographs of completed work

Photographs of installations and of our workshop show work carried out by our own technicians. They are not retouched to hide defects.

They are still photographs: lighting, angle and the colour of the vehicle all affect how film appears in an image, and a gloss finish photographed under workshop lighting will not look identical to your car on a driveway. Treat them as a fair impression of the standard of work, not as a promise about a specific visual outcome on a specific vehicle.

Third-party brands and trademarks

Film brands, vehicle manufacturers and product names referenced on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners. We name them for one reason only: so you can tell what is being described and compare it fairly.

Naming a brand does not imply that its owner endorses, sponsors or is affiliated with Zenfo Auto Services, and comparisons between products reflect our own experience and published specifications rather than any manufacturer's position.

Some pages link to external sites: manufacturer documentation, mapping services, our social profiles, or messaging platforms. Those sites are outside our control.

We link to sources we believed to be reliable when the page was published, but we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or for what they do with your data once you arrive. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the site it points to.

Accuracy, and how to report an error

We check what we publish, we date our legal pages, and we correct mistakes when we find them. We do not claim the site is error-free. Technical guidance ages, manufacturers change their products, and prices move.

To the extent permitted by UAE law, we do not accept liability for loss arising from reliance on general information published here rather than on a written quotation or a professional inspection.

Found something wrong?

If you spot an error on this site (a specification that no longer matches the manufacturer's documentation, an outdated price, a broken claim), please tell us. We would rather be corrected than be wrong in public, and we will fix it and update the page.
