Who these terms are between

These terms form the agreement between you, the owner of the vehicle or a person authorised to act for the owner, and Zenfo Auto Services, a paint protection film installer operating in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

They apply from the moment you accept a written quotation or confirm a booking with us, and they continue to apply for as long as any warranty we have issued remains in force. Browsing paintprotectionfilm.ae does not, by itself, create a contract; accepting a quote does.

If you are booking on behalf of a company, a fleet or another person, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for them.

We may decline or discontinue work where a vehicle cannot be worked on safely or lawfully, where a person's conduct endangers our staff, customers or premises, or where we have reason to believe a vehicle is not lawfully in your possession. Where we decline before work begins, you pay nothing.

How a booking is made

There is no booking form or online checkout on this website, and no payment is ever taken through it. Every booking is made in a conversation, in one of three ways: a WhatsApp message, a phone call, or an email. All three are listed on our contact page.

A booking becomes firm in four steps.

  1. You tell us the vehicle. Make, model, year and the coverage you want. Accurate details matter: film is cut to a template for a specific car, and a wrong year can mean a wrong cut.
  2. We issue a written quotation. It states the service, the film grade, the coverage, the price and the expected turnaround.
  3. You accept it, and we confirm a slot in writing. Until you have that written confirmation from us, a date is not reserved.
  4. You bring the vehicle in at the agreed time, or arrange our pick-up service where it is offered.
Accuracy of vehicle details

We prepare computer-cut film from the details you give us. Where a coverage gap, a mis-cut panel or a delay results from vehicle information that turns out to be incorrect, the cost of re-cutting the film is yours, not ours. Sending us a photograph of the registration card when you enquire avoids this almost entirely.

Installation is carried out at our own enclosed, climate-controlled workshop in Abu Dhabi. We do not install film at customer premises, on driveways or in open car parks: film applied outside a controlled environment traps dust and fails early, and we will not warrant work done that way.

Services and film grades

We install thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) paint protection film in the grades below. The right grade depends on the vehicle, how it is driven and the coverage you want; we will tell you which we recommend and why before you commit.

Film gradeThicknessCharacteristics
Standard TPU gloss6 milSelf-healing top coat. Optically clear; does not alter factory paint colour or gloss. Suited to daily-driven sedans, SUVs and crossovers
Matte finish TPU8 milConverts a factory gloss finish to a satin or matte appearance. Fully reversible on removal
Ceramic-coated TPU8 milTPU base film with a factory-applied SiO2 ceramic top coat. Combines stone-chip protection with hydrophobic behaviour
VERTEK full-vehicle package8.5 milTransparent, heat self-healing, hydrophobic, non-yellowing. The film used in our advertised full-vehicle package

Coverage is quoted as full-vehicle or partial. Partial coverage typically means the bonnet, front bumper, mirrors and door leading edges (the panels that take the most stone-chip damage on Abu Dhabi motorways), and can be extended to rocker panels, headlight lenses or a track-focused package on request.

Every installation, whatever the coverage, includes surface decontamination, computer-cut panels matched to the vehicle, edge wrapping behind exposed panel lips where the panel allows it, and heat curing. These are part of the quoted price and are never charged as extras.

Paint correction is not included by default. Film bonds to the surface beneath it, so defects in the paint stay visible and can affect adhesion. Where correction is needed we will tell you before work starts, quote it separately, and proceed only once you agree.

Quotes, prices and payment

The written quotation is the price

The figure in the written, itemised quotation we issue before work begins is the amount you will be invoiced for that work. We do not add charges afterwards for decontamination, edge wrapping, heat curing or film waste. The only thing that can change the total is additional work you have separately approved in writing, paint correction being the usual example.

Prices shown on the website

Prices published on paintprotectionfilm.ae, including promotional package prices, are indicative and may change without notice. They are not an offer capable of acceptance. Your quotation is. Where a booking is rescheduled by you to a later date, the price applicable at the time of the rescheduled installation applies.

Payment

Payment falls due when you collect the vehicle. We accept cash, credit card, debit card and bank transfer. We do not require a deposit for standard installation bookings.

We may withhold release of a vehicle until payment for completed work has been made, as permitted by law.

Your vehicle at our workshop

Pre-installation inspection

Before any film is applied, our technicians inspect and photograph the paint. This record establishes the condition of every panel at the moment the vehicle came into our care. It protects you as much as it protects us.

Where that inspection finds pre-existing defects (swirl marks, oxidation, prior respray panels, failing clear coat, filler or non-factory paint), we will tell you in writing before work proceeds, and set out the options. If you ask us to proceed over a disclosed defect, we will, but the warranty will not cover adhesion failure attributable to it.

What to remove before you hand the car over

Please remove personal belongings and valuables. We cannot accept responsibility for items left in a vehicle. Aftermarket accessories, body kits or dash-cam wiring that obstruct panel access may need to be removed for film to be applied correctly; where that is the case we will discuss it with you rather than remove anything on our own initiative.

Timing

Turnaround times quoted to you are estimates given in good faith based on the coverage booked and the condition of the paint. A full-vehicle installation is typically two to three working days. Where paint correction is added, or where a panel needs re-cutting, the work takes longer and we will tell you as soon as we know.

Warranty

Two separate protections apply to work we carry out, and it helps to keep them distinct.

  • The manufacturer's film warranty covers the film itself against material and manufacturing defects: yellowing, cracking, peeling and delamination under normal use. It is backed by the film manufacturer and registered against your vehicle and the film's batch or serial number.
  • Our installation warranty covers our workmanship: lifting edges, trapped contamination or misalignment attributable to how the film was fitted rather than to what the film is.
Your certificate is the governing document

The warranty term that applies to your vehicle is the one printed on the warranty certificate issued to you at handover, together with the film manufacturer's own warranty document. Terms differ by film grade and by coverage, and manufacturers revise them. Where anything on this website or in our marketing differs from your certificate, the certificate governs. Keep it: a claim is verified against the film serial number recorded on it.

Warranty cover runs from the date of installation stated on the certificate and is tied to the vehicle and the panels actually filmed. Replacement film supplied under a valid claim carries the remainder of the original term, not a new one.

What the warranty does not cover

No film warranty covers damage the film was never going to survive. Ours does not cover:

  • Accident, collision, fire, flood, vandalism, deliberate abrasion or any sharp impact after installation
  • Edge lifting or adhesion failure caused by automatic car washes with rotating brushes or high-pressure jets aimed at film edges
  • Damage from solvent-based cleaners, abrasive compounds, or steam applied directly to film edges
  • Degradation caused by coatings, waxes or chemical treatments applied over the film without our agreement
  • Adhesion failure on panels where a disclosed paint defect was left uncorrected at your request
  • Film that has been removed, cut, modified or re-fitted by anyone other than our technicians during the warranty period
  • Normal, expected characteristics of the product, such as very fine surface texture on complex curves or the faint outline of a panel edge, are properties of film, not faults

Ordinary wear consistent with the film's age and the vehicle's use is also outside the warranty. Film is a sacrificial layer: it is doing its job when it takes damage that would otherwise have reached the paint.

Making a warranty claim

  1. Get in touch through the contact page, with the certificate number and, ideally, photographs of the affected panel.
  2. Bring the vehicle in so a technician can inspect the film and confirm the cause. We cannot assess film reliably from photographs alone.
  3. We confirm the outcome in writing. Where a claim is valid, we replace the affected film at no film-material cost to you, normally within five working days of confirming the defect, subject to film availability for your vehicle.
  4. Where a claim is declined, we will tell you which exclusion applies and why, and quote for the repair separately if you want it done.

Where a defect is one the film manufacturer must resolve directly, we will tell you and help you file that claim using the serial number on your certificate.

Your obligations and aftercare

Film performs as promised only if it is looked after, and most warranty problems trace back to the first week. When you collect the vehicle we issue written aftercare instructions. In summary:

  • Do not wash the vehicle for the first seven days. The adhesive is still curing, and edges are vulnerable.
  • Hand wash with pH-neutral shampoo. Avoid automatic washes with brushes; avoid aiming pressure washers at film edges.
  • Remove bird droppings, fuel spills and insect residue promptly. They etch film as readily as paint.
  • Do not apply coatings or polishes over the film without asking us first.
  • Bring the vehicle back for its inspection if one is included in your package.

You also agree to give us accurate vehicle information, to attend collection yourself or send an authorised representative, and to raise any concern about the finished work at handover or as soon as you notice it.

Where damage is directly caused by not following the written aftercare instructions, the warranty does not cover it on the affected panels.

Cancellation and rescheduling

Plans change, and we would rather you told us than did not turn up.

  • More than 24 hours before your appointment: cancel or reschedule at no charge.
  • Less than 24 hours before, or non-attendance: a late-cancellation fee of 10% of the quoted price may apply. It covers film already cut for your vehicle and technician time reserved and now unusable. We will tell you at the time of booking that this applies.
  • Film already cut to your vehicle's template cannot be returned to stock or used on another car, which is the reason the fee exists at all.

We may also need to reschedule: for film stock that has not arrived, for workshop equipment maintenance, or for events outside our control such as severe weather or a government-declared emergency. Where we do, we will tell you as soon as we know and offer the next available slot at no additional charge. We do not charge you for a delay that is ours.

Limitation of liability

We accept responsibility for loss or damage we cause. What we limit is exposure to losses that follow indirectly from a problem rather than from the problem itself.

  • Our total liability for any claim arising out of a particular installation is limited to the amount you paid us for that installation.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (hire-car costs, lost income, towing charges or loss of use), except where UAE law does not permit that exclusion.
  • We are not liable for paint defects, clear-coat failure or panel damage caused by pre-existing conditions, earlier repairs or non-factory paint, where these were disclosed to you before work began.
What we do not limit

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UAE law. Any clause that would have that effect does not apply.

Your rights as a consumer

If you are dealing with us as a consumer rather than a business, you have statutory rights under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and its Executive Regulations, issued as Cabinet Resolution No. 66 of 2023. Those rights include the right to accurate information about a service before you buy it, to a service that matches what was described, and to have defects in warranted work put right.

Nothing in these terms reduces those rights. Where any clause here conflicts with what the law gives you, the law wins and that clause does not apply to you. If you believe a term on this page has been applied to you in a way that cuts across your statutory rights, tell us. That is a mistake we would want to correct.

Intellectual property

The text, photographs, technical descriptions and page designs published on paintprotectionfilm.ae belong to Zenfo Auto Services or are used with permission. Please do not republish them commercially without asking us first. Quoting a short passage with a link back is fine and welcome.

Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes arising from them fall to the courts of the United Arab Emirates.

Before that stage, we would ask you to raise the matter with us directly through the contact page. We acknowledge complaints within two working days and aim to resolve them within five. In practice, almost everything is settled by putting the car back on a ramp and looking at it together.

You also retain the right to raise a complaint with the UAE Ministry of Economy's consumer protection service or the relevant Abu Dhabi authority. Contacting us first is a request, not a precondition.

Changes to these terms

We update these terms when our services, warranties or the applicable law change. The version and effective date at the top of this page tell you which version you are reading.

The version in force when you accepted your quotation is the version that governs your installation. A later change to this page does not alter an agreement already made with you.
